Hello! I’m Tej, a junior Electrical Engineering major at UMD. My responsibilities as Co-President include managing finances and organizing events. My current aspirations are to work in the satellite industry developing flight hardware and software.

Pranav Narayan | President

I’m Pranav, a second-year student in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science, hoping to work in the space exploration sector. As a Co-President, I manage some of the financial details, as well as handle other administrative needs.

Eli Mirny | Vice President

I am an aerospace engineering major hoping to work in the space sector. My responsibilities as the vice president are to help organize events and conduct outreach.

Hi! I am a third year Physics and Astronomy double major. As secretary for SEDS@UMD, my role includes managing team meetings, administrative tasks, and file systems across the organization.

SatFab Leadership

Ze’ev Vladimir | Co-Lead

I’m Ze’ev, one of the SatFab project leads and a third year Astronomy and Physics student. As project lead I work on project management and organizing different opportunities and missions. After graduation I am looking to pursue a PhD in computational astrophysics and develop astronomical simulations.

Our Inventory Control Officer is responsible for recording and managing our inventory, managing shipments, and fulfilling inventory requests.

Liquid Rocket Team Leadership

Ryan Rex | Data Acquisitions and Electronics Co-Lead

I’m Ryan, one of the Liquid Rocket project leads and the lead for the Data Acquisitions and Electronics subteam. As a project lead, I develop a list of tasks that need to be done and correlate skills or experience necessary to complete them, as well as taking the lead on developing tests and electronics requirements for the engine. I’m a senior in Aerospace engineering, and after I graduate I’ll be entering a career in spacecraft systems integration.

Tirey Daramola | Ground Support Equipment Co-Lead

I’m Tirey, one of the Liquid Rocket project leads and the lead for the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) subteam. As a project lead and GSE lead, I lead the development of the liquid rocket engine test stand and propellant feed system. I delegate tasks for this development, and coordinate the GSE subteam work with our other subteams. I’m currently a junior in Aerospace Engineering, and after graduating I’m looking to pursue a masters degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Alex Huang | Propulsion Co-Lead

I’m Alex, one of the Liquid Rocket project leads for the propulsion subteam. As the propulsion lead, I oversee the analysis and  development of all the components within the engine and work on the starting ignition sequence for the engine. I’m currently a senior in Aerospace Engineering and after I graduate, I hope to pursue a masters in Aerospace Engineering.

THEIA CubeSat Leadership

Noah Wigglesworth | Chief Engineer

Noah is a sophomore aerospace engineering major at UMD. As CE, he oversees the design, analysis and integration of THEIA’s subsystems and manages mission requirements and CONOPs.

Ben Hroblak | Project Manager

Ben is a junior mechanical engineering major and project management minor at UMD. As PM, he manages the project budget, schedule, tasks, and procurement.

John Wulff | Payload Lead

John is a junior aerospace engineering student at UMD. As Payload Lead, he oversees the design and development of the mission’s event sensor payload, including hardware and software.
